I'm Samantha

I love technology, food, fashion, dancing, and traveling. I believe in order to be happy, you must do what it is you love. So that's what I strive to do each day.

Officially recognized by Association for Women In Science

Originally from Philadelphia, PA, I spent most of my childhood growing up in Scottsdale, AZ. I danced competitively, and still always find ways to support local dance communities.

I attended Arizona State University where I pursued a B.S.E in Engineering Management with a focus in Mechanical Engineering. I graduated from the Barrett Honors College and received the honor of Outstanding Senior for the 2013 class of the Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering.

During my time in college, I had the joy of being a member of the Arizona Cardinals Cheerleaders for two seasons. My experience was unforgettable, and I learned valuable lessons about teamwork and perseverance. During this time, I was introduced to the organization Science Cheerleader. I have continued my relationship with them by serving as a regional coordinator and national events manager to help organize Science Cheerleader appearances. I plan to spread STEM awareness throughout my career and find this to be a great platform.

Today I'm an engineering project manager for CBS Interactive. Here, I do a little bit of everything. I must quickly learn new technology and products, communicate with all levels of management, and be able to bridge the gap between our development teams and customer assumptions. I love being able to use different skills and interact with new teams everyday.
I love to bake! Sweets are my weakness and I've recently taken up cupcake decorating to up my game.
New York is my favorite city. I've always dreamed of living in a brownstone and walking around the city everyday. Maybe also a beach house.
